Best methods for shipping from London to Melbourne - any suggestions?
I have several boxes of clothes, books, works files, camera gear and laptops to ship.. No heavy & bulky furniture..
What would you suggest is best?
1. Use a shipping firm - which would u recommend?
2. Take as much valuables on the plane, ie camera gear + laptops. ship the books and files by sea and any other valuables that cant go on the flight b/c of weight to be couriered
3. Take only as much as i can on the plane. and leave the rest with a friend till i come back in a year to pick up
4. Another idea i havent thought of?
Would love to hear your suggestions & thoughts. TIA !

We have several friends who used Excess Baggage when moving from the US to the UK and vice versa and were pleased. We used UPS for our belongings from the US to the UK.
