Personally, not much, but they are handy to have around, particularly I thought, when I first got here. CBA were excellent at getting everything I needed up and running, even when I didn't have a permanent address.

I often think that CBA and Telstra are pretty similar, both very capable, but damned expensive !!

Bit like that I suppose. I pay a one-off $300 a year charge to the CBA, but that gets me 0.5% knocked of the mortgage rate so its worth doing.

CBA are cheapskates, St George knock 0.7% off for a $365 annual fee

But good either way, 0.5% of a $200k loan would be $1,000, so it saves you $700 per year.
