Default Beer - who wants one?

Who fancies a cool, nay, ice-cold beer?!!!

But is the Antipodean beer any good?

No, I don't think so.

Oh god......... no thanks... Got a massive hangover. All the girlies took me out last night on the town in Bristol and I had to wear a green hat with cork strings all night and several requests of "men at work". Think I'll pass on the beer Don

Hmmm. No worries on the pass. But I do know Bristol very well. Now tell me where you went and what happened.

(Used to live in Bristol.)

Well we all went for a meal - back of the hippodrome.... bit of a sing song (karaoke - GOD at the time it seemed like a good idea) then on to Branigans. There was a really fat Elvis impersonator there!!! One bristolian bloke came up to me - bearing in mind I had this OZ hat on and said " where you from then?" At that point we decided to come home. now suffering and no sympathy from hubby

Bristol! not far from where I came from in the Forest of Dean ('ole butty!)
I like the kiwi beer, you dont get any of the "real" english ale crap which suits me fine, I hated the warm, cloudy, flat horrible shit !!!!!!
If you're into your dark beers, then its here in NZ, but plenty of lager type beers & all the beer stores have a walk in fridge/cooler
So you buy it chilled!
I'm happy!

Another day, another cold beer or two! I am on remission as my dear wife is in charge of the kids and earlier on I saw Newcastle succumb to Man U - don't support either but it was a good match.

Why did Fergie get sent to the terraces (my commentary was not in English)?

Another day, another beautiful cold Cascade Premium - now thats a good Aussie beer, when you can get it!
Being a Zumerzet girl at heart, had a few drunken nights in Bristol during my mis-spent youth..... was up there this week with The Bloke, and he decided its a far better place than Brighton - even allowing for the accent! I had to act as translator at times - deepest Zumerzet meets deepest Queensland!

Funny I read this on my way out to the pub last night. I ended up having far more than usual (only recovered a couple of hours ago), and for this I blame you pf. I think you planted some sort of sub-consious message into my very simple brain.
