I haven't lived in the WHOLE of far north Qld so couldn't possibly comment

townsville looks great and sounds fab, we need to be no more than 1hr from brissy as college is there so our hands are tied on how far away we can be but not sure on area to go to north or south or anywhere any suggestions would be great.

We have been in Townsville for a couple of weeks now and are loving it. Been to the Cultural Fest this evening and had a great time.

Not missing my family too much yet, as I am being kept very busy with the children, I am sure it will hit me soon. I miss not being able to call my sister or mum in the afternoon for a daily chat, oh well its the price we pay to live in our paradise! Oh and the wine is so cheap....

The cultural fest is great. Rob and i had our piccys with the mayor and federal MP who could have dressed up for the occasion a bit! It's passport application day today yey and filling in the voting registration form which was cunningly placed behind our citizenship certificate in the envelope. It feels like only yesterday we met here let alone marry, leave and then come back to Australia.

If you're going to ring the UK get a $10 phone card from the newsagent as the calls are then only 0.5-5cents a minute (depends on which card you get).

If you want any info on Townsville let us know as have been here for ages etc If you join the Cowboys leagues club in the city you get cheap food and the kids can meet them. Plus you get parking right in the city for as long as you want for free. The A Team have had the Cowboys experience too

Seen a few places on the internet and driven by but its quite hard getting into the places if the tenants are there. Hoping to see a couple tomorrow. Did you find it difficult getting in to see places? Its also hard when you only have the weekend together and most of the real estate agencies shut at midday.

past legs , myself and wayne went round evrey agent in townsville and found lj hooker in kirwan and john gribbin realty in aitkenvale really good we got a fully furnished property in west end within 3 days of looking ...
