Apparently they've been quite successful! 
A campaign to pair up country bachelors with single city girls has become so popular it is about to go national.
The Beaut Blokes weekend started in the tiny western Victoria town of Harrow in 2003.
Since then demand from the girls has grown, but the supply of available blokes has dropped off because many of the locals have married.
