Does anybody have any experiance of using / accepting Bartercard. I have a meeting with the local rep next week and any background information of real life experiances would be useful.

We were members until very recently. Its quite a shonkie operation, we found (in NZ) that it was difficult to spend the trade dollars. Bartercard will deny this however most businesses in the arrangement charge at least full retail, which is very often significantly more than you would expect to pay. I would not recommend it to anyone that runs a genuine business however< I would recommend it if one's business is also a little shonkie and runs on the edge.
