Default Banksia Grove, Perth an update

Hi all
I thought seeing as we had now moved house to give a small update on the subburb we had bought in, as on another discussion forum it was said I had purchased in a hell hole!
Well have moved in and all is very quiet, infact incredibably so. There are no gangs wandering the streets after dark, and although I can hear hoons they must be quite some distance away as its really just a muffled noise in the distance.
My neighbours all waved at us when we arrived and seemed very hospitable, the local kids came and asked if my lazy son would like to kick a ball around. The area has lots of kids, which is ok, and lots of single mums which is fine by me. It is also very multi cultural.
So all in all Banksia Grove isn't such a hell hole afterall. I can seeing us staying put for a couple of years anyhow so must be good.

The building work up here is massive, there are so many home sites getting built its really amazing, where it will all stop is anyones guess, Joondalup Drive is open to Neaves road, so travelling isnt all that bad either. The Carramar estate is about to join onto this one and who knows what it will be called when that happens but even in the 7 months since we purchased here the value has gone up by as much as 10% which I reckon is a really good return. There are also some other bargains to be had as well round here, much cheaper than buying on the actual Carramar estate but only 1 minute away.
