Bank Statements
Any comments on how long a history of bank statements we should be taking as proof of our financial history?
I'm sure I have heard somebody on here say 6 months is enough, hubby wants to take the best part of 10 years worth!!
Any thoughts or experiences?

As long as you are earning in Oz the history you get there would normally be sufficient. I can't imagine why you would need 10 years as it is the ability to repay a loan that is first and foremost not just history.
I hope this helps

Useful to have some as proof of reliability of paying off loans, mortgage, bills credit cards etc. If you are thinking of renting I'm sure it will help. 3-5 years max would be my intention!!
