Found this amusing, even the chief economist is blaming the price of bananas
(paragraph 4 if you dont follow the economy)

It's ironic that interest rates may rise to slow down inflation because of the hike in banana prices. Most consumers are avoiding bananas due to the price but will end up paying an increase in their mortgage costs anyway.
