Honestly you would be better staying in Perth, I'm 26 and enjoy nightlife but compared to other cities i've lived (Berlin, Poznan, Stockholm) in the Sydney night life is pretty poor. Manly is good though :)

That is true for Sydneys size the nightlife is shit.

$12 a schooner :eek: where do you drink, I complain at places that charge over $7 in the CBD?

My Balmain locals charge between $4.50 and $5.80 depending on where I go to.

If you don't need a car much why not consider one of the car share companies, considerably cheaper than owning your own if you are only driving a few hours a week.
