Babysitting rates for NYE

Babysitting rates for NYE
Has anyone ever babysat on New Years eve or had a babysitter for NYE? What is the going rate on the Gold Coast? It will be for 3 children aged 1-6. Thanks!

One Sydney web site states: For Public holidays & New Years Eve. Rates and fees are doubled.
However, they also quote normal babysitting rates as: $64 for the first three hours + $16 per hour thereafter for 7pm onwards

I usually try to take the kids with us, whatever we are doing. I once babysat on New Years Eve when I was a teenager and it was one of the most lonely times of my life.
Sorry - not really a very helpful answer, because it doesn't answer the question, but I just wondered if you would be able to re-think your evening so you could include the children.
