I find the smaller real estate agents to be much better than the big chain ones. Sometimes a little more expensive, but better service, more personable.

A good tip is to try to get all the application forms pre-filled, when you go to view the property, you can give this straight to the agent, and make sure you keep a copy of them too. Makes it easier to fill others out. It worked for a friend of mine, the agent went back, checked her ref's and called her that afternoon.

I hate application forms though! :thumbdown:
