but i am totally amazed at how good E.A are at taking photos of properties and making them look good - there must be a course that they do .........

Ordinary sized double bedrooms become mammoth sized

They sure are - some of the kitchen cabinets look very dodgy. I always look for curving walls, too.

So the moral of the story is, I guess - do NOT rent a place unseen, even if somebody will let you. Other than a short term/holiday let, of course.
