Default Awaiting a reply on Visa

This maybe a common question, however I am really concerned. My partner and I applied for a PR visa three weeks ago, we haven't had any notification that they have recieved our documents. Is this normal?

When we had our skills assessed we had an email a week after sending stating they had recieved them. Am I worrying unneccessarily or should I be contacting them?

We did send them recorded, in hindsight maybe we should have sent them by courier.

Any comments will be appreciative!!

You got that bit right, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Hi,
check out www.austimeline.com. This will give you an idea of how long each stage takes.

I shouldn't worry too much, sometimes it can take 3 weeks for the post to/from Oz.

Hope this helps
Tracy
