Default Avoca (NSW) v Sunshine (QLD)

We are trying to make a decision about where to settle. I love the Sunshine Coast, but work looks like a problem although this is not for sure.

I am a teacher, my husband a fire fighter.

We also liked Avoca. My sister lives in Sydney.

How do we make this terribly hard decision, wherever we go the decison must be final. We have a 14 and 16 year old and need to settle without moving again in a year.

We are moving from London, so the kids are used to a lively life but we are ready to move away from it. We need to find a happy medium.

We need, good work opportunities, good schools and a good university.
Your help is appreciated.
Tara

Avoca the small beachside community? Its lovely we have driven thorough it but I'd say you need to check NSW teaching regs I'm sure they have country/rural service too. If so beach towns not too far from a major center would be equally as competitive for perm teaching jobs.

Sorry cant be more helpful.
