Default Avatars...HOW???

Mrs.N here and I'm having a dim moment .
Don't have much knowledge of the old computer so can someone please tell me how to put your own avatar on your posts???Like a photo or something not on the forum list.
Nearly everyone has something going on and I'm feeling rather dull in comparison .....Mrs.N(poor me)

Spend 4 or 5 days trawling the internet for a decent picture the right size , save it to my pictures or desktop , then go to My Forum then Edit Options then change avatar and follow your nose, you`ll get there in the end

If you find a picture that's too big you need to resize it in something like PhotoImpact or Photoshop or some other photo editing software. then follow dave.t's instructions.

You need an imaging package where it is easy to resize the photo you choose. I used Ulead Photo Express and resized using options to maintain aspect ratio and pixel measurements rather than percentage.

The original of mine is a jpg size 640 x 480, the avatar version is 64 x 45. Icon size should be no larger than 100 x 100 and that is a bit large. Commercial icons are usually 30 x 30 or near that.

Ready for a try

OR Yes - I will resize one ( or more for you ) PM for an email address to send to
