Mrs.N here and I'm having a dim moment

Don't have much knowledge of the old computer so can someone please tell me how to put your own avatar on your posts???Like a photo or something not on the forum list.
Nearly everyone has something going on and I'm feeling rather dull in comparison

If you find a picture that's too big you need to resize it in something like PhotoImpact or Photoshop or some other photo editing software. then follow dave.t's instructions.

The original of mine is a jpg size 640 x 480, the avatar version is 64 x 45. Icon size should be no larger than 100 x 100 and that is a bit large. Commercial icons are usually 30 x 30 or near that.
Ready for a try

Help! I've found a new avatar but how do I save it as gif or jpg file! It won't let me put it in keeps saying error!!
