In QLD, Learner drivers used to have to use "L" Plates, then they changed the rules so you didn't need to use them, now they have changed it back again, for a 3 year trial.
In NSW, UK drivers used to be able to just swap their UK licence for a NSW one, then they changed the rules, and you had to do a test. Now they have changed the rule back again, to just swapping it over.
