The better schools here are tied to faiths and you are required to pay as all are private , so this report shows some views on the system.

Comparing religious schools, with the exception of some Catholic systemic schools, to gated communities, she said they were a setback to national objectives for a harmonious society.
"We do truly believe segregation takes away the opportunity to get to know your neighbour, to know what they do and what they feel," Ms Brownlee said. "Since September 11 it's more important than ever that we look at what we are doing with our children . . . excluding and dividing is a very dangerous way to go."
