We have purchased some website domains and are in the process of creating a portal on the internet.

Each portal website, which is a standalone website, is geographically driven and is intended for migrants, travellers etc.

The sites are currently under construction, both here and in Australia.

I know other people on here are doing sites etc. And i dont want to tread on anyones toes, however if you wish to help in this venture then please feel free to email me direct

The websites will be topical and informative, with information ranging from Foreign exchange to Real estate. Cafes and Bistros to surfing. Removals to exports.. etc etc , we hope to create the NETS largest resource for each major geographic destination within australia.

The areas are and urls are:
Brisbane
Perth
Adelaide
Sydney
Melbourne
Queensland
NewSouthWales
Victoria
SouthAustralia
WesternAustralia
and Tasmania

Each of the above is a separate website, and approx costs are quite high. However this is a long term commitment. I for one do not believe in popups or banner ads.
The sites revenue is at present being funded privately.

However we need vast amounts of info and links etc on anything WHATSOEVER to do with australia, and more importantly each of the areas above.

I hope dearly that you may help, the sites, are free and is not commercially driven.

Hey there,

I am also in the process of creating one myself here for all the different cities. I have started to collect information on the topics you mentioned and have begun only last week. I have the domain www.australiancities.info registered with 500 MB space, 5 GB traffic and 50 e-mails with 50 MB each.

The site is still very raw, I have just put in a template from MS Frontpage for now.

I was thinking of creating one website that everyone can remember and then provide links to other sites from that if required. I can add links to your site from mine if you want or the other way around.

The one we are doing is very Adelaide specific and will be a very much hands on offline help source as well as a website. We want it to be something that anyone moving to Adelaide can use as a means of support be it just brochures or meet and greet at the airport, right down to a bit of moral support and social activities.
