I am by no means a fashion victim however whilst out working we have seen the most strange sights. Last month we saw a woman, 2 young children and a dog walking down a very busy street, the woman was wearing her pyjama's, dressing gown and barefoot as were the children
and to top it off it was about midday. A few days later we saw another woman alone walking down the same street again in her dressing gown and slippers, we later saw her in the local cafe, which must have been about 4 km's from where we first saw her
. Last week we saw a woman outside washing her car, yes you have guessed it
wearing her pyjama's and slippers. Today though was the icing on the cake, whilst delivering a parcel to the tourist information centre, there was a young woman in there purchasing tickets, she was wearing pink and white flannelette pyjama's and slippers :scared: . Is it just us
or is this normal ?. We have come to the conclusion that Australia is a very unique country in many ways

I brought this up a couple of weeks ago. Bizarre eh? Whereever you go people seem to be wearing flanellette pyjama's.
Maybe I should try it if ever I'm in the UK and see what the reaction is, but people here really don't care.
Paul.

Does it concern you that no-one takes a second glance, we think it is hilarious as if we tried this in England, people would instantly think that we had escaped from the loony bin

My "favourite" look has got to be blokes wearing stubbie (short) shorts, singlets (vests) and good old thongs (flip flops), esp when they have those very attractive sock marks happening around the ankles - mmmmm love it
Oh yes, usually comes with customary mullet (v bad haircut) too

Worse in summer when they ditch the flip flops and singlet and pop into a shop after a day working in 35+ degree heat phew :scared: :scared: Oft accompanied by the bare footed woman pushing anyone under the age of 6 around the shops wearing nothing but a dirty nappy or undies.

It's great. I love it
Went to Coles and a fella offered to get me a trolley.
He had no teeth, undies above his trousers, cardi on inside out and hair that looked like it hadn't seen a comb since he was a lad
I thought I'd pulled :scared:
[joking apart, he was lovely. Even if his dress sense was shite

You have made my day. If I could live in my pj's I'd be very happy indeed. I do sometimes go shopping in my pjs but have to put clothes over the top which is very annoying. Now I want to go to Oz even more !!

When I was single my friend and I used to have 'girlie' nights in and drink copious amounts of wine, eat pizza and smoke like chimneys. One night we run out of wine (and chocolate) As we were both over the top we ordered a taxi and went to the local Sainsbury in our pyjamas and slippers. We then rushed round the store to obtain our wares. Shop staff had a laugh - when I went back a few days later they remembered me!!!! :scared:

Saw a woman shopping in Woolworths on the Sunshine Coast a couple of weeks ago...but it was about 6.00pm, so that almost makes it bedtime for Qlders.

That's only the tip of the iceberg. We were very naughty girls for a while. Online dating was the funniest!!!!! My tips are: NEVER trust anyone who doesn't put a photo on and describes themselves as very goodlooking. NEVER tell anyone you have a webcam and for the men out there looking NEVER go for anyone who describes themselves in their moniker as sexy or foxy (so says my husband).
