just done a search on the area as not heard anything on diving in NT.
A quote from one website
"It was wild - we had to circumnavigate offshore islands with a stun gun to check for sunbaking crocodiles before we went in to dive - and, to be honest, I have never been so petrified in all my diving life, but it was worth it."
Not my idea of what should be in the pre-dive checks

alot since hunting of them was banned. In a way crocs are more dangerous then sharks because they view humans as prey while sharks usually only attack people when they mistake them for seals or if the sharks are starving.
Sharks can only kill you when your in the water while crocs can walk on the land.

I've done a few wreck dives in Darwin harbour. They pull out and relocate about 300 crocs a year from there.
Not only did we have the crocs to worry about but we were wearing full body stinger suits for the box jellyfish and a hammerhead shark swam past the boat just before we went in.
