the most common nastiness I have had for being an immigrant is usually linked to the fact that i am deaf. It usually comes from bogan types and others around me are usually quick to leap in and denounce that person as a stupid ill educated idiot!
I have had some Aussies say that they do resent immigration as it stops the Govt investing in apprenticeship programmes when they can encourage fully trained migrants instead. |
