Default Australian Address for shipping

We are shipping our furniture out with Pickfords and just organising paperwork etc however, they are wanting an Australian address. We have not got one as of yet, not getting long term rental until we arrive. What address has everyone used?

I did not give an address. I just contacted them when we got sorted over there. There was no problems.

Thanks, I have spoken to Pickfords and they are insisting on an address whether it be the address which we use when we are there. We can update later however, they need an address for their forms!

Pickfords are having a laugh, how can you give an address for somewhere you dont live.

I used http://www.migrateglobal.com/ for my move to perth in November and they did not need an address until I had a place sorted here. (Information £2400 for full 20' sole use container, loaded and unloaded by them)

If Pickfords insist on an address, I would request them to use their recieving agents address at the australia end.

Best of luck with the move.

Use the address of where ever you are staying on arrival and then contact them when you are here and have a new address.
