Our timeline was:

Skills Assessment Submitted 15/10/05
Skills Assessment Passed 05/12/05
Main 139 Application Acknowledged 13/12/05
ASPC Requested Medicals, Police Checks and Assurance of Support - 19/04/06
Medical and Police Checks Sent (Assurer went to CentreLink the same week) - 25/05/06
139 Visas Granted - 02/06/06 (It just took us another 2 weeks to find out!)

All we need to do now is sell the house, oh and start looking for jobs, oh and tell everyone...

If anyone has changed their mind about emigrating to Oz and instead would like to buy a cheeky little number (3 beds, views of the sea if you stand on tiptoes in the upstairs bedroom) in the North East of England let us know.

Dont take the highest valuation by the estate agents.
Bake bread/cakes before a viewing it makes people viewing feel more at home. Or use a coffee maker for the same reason.
Neutral decor but not boring.
Definitly no kippers the night before viewing LOL
Dont sound desperate to sell , dont say you are emigrating as offers made will be low.
