Australia - taking goods less than 12mths old
I have seen general statements that there is a 10% GST on good less than 12mths.
Does this apply to all goods (eg clothes, cut off level on value)?
(is there a link for the details of personal imports to Aus)
Have people taken goods and not declared they are less than 12mths? Do they check?
Has anyone taken advantaged on the Retail Export Scheme in the UK upon emigrating? any comments on you experiences?
thanks in advance

Found this:
"Certain high value items owned and used for less than 12 months prior to departure (usually domestic electrical goods) and goods for commercial purposes could possibly attract an average duty of 5% and GST of 10%."
