Default Australia Direct

Just watched a very interesting programme on BBC News 24 called ‘Australia Direct’ – mainly sports based and centred on Melbourne, it told the story of Greek immigrants settling in Melbourne and showed some good city scenes. Not sure if this is a weekly programme but keep an eye open 14.30 next Sunday definitely worth a watch.

Regards

Scot

Hello Scotvness

I remember watching Australia direct on BBC news 24 ( I think ) before I came over here 6 months ago it was on about noon on a saturday, GMT. It's schedule was a bit erratic sometimes every week or every 2 to 3 weeks.

I don't think it's based in Victoria but all over Oz. The BBC reporter over here has to justify his existance during quiet times and if the world is quiet then it gets aired.
