i keep hearing/reading that australia is 8 years behind the uk.is this in everything or just certain things,is it true at all :scared:

That's crap at most it's only 7 yrs, Queensland however is at least 27 though, it's 20 yrs behind the rest of Australia

I suppose some of the attitudes are - refreshingly - behind the UK (!) But Australia has mobiles, ADSL, notebook PCs...I read somewhere that Australia is actually quite quick to pick up on new technology but there are always caveats with that.

I don't know, I used to love it in the UK. Sure there is lots of crap, but I enjoyed the music channel M2 and the extreme sports channel, can't remember its name now.
