Fast forward, small boy, to 1963.

Your Prime Minister, with reference to QEII, uttered the words:

"I did but see her passing by, and yet I love her till I die."

There's nothing like seeing a PM on his (you won't see a her) knees - bowing and scraping to the UK Establishment. And Oz PMs do it so well...

Paul Keating did it better.

Maybe we can get Mark Latham to honk her hooters.

Leave the rough house hoot for distant PM. Perhaps a bottom slap for re-affirm-ation.

I remember a colleague who was a bit of a wag asking that of old Prince Charles as he walked past. This was when he had his arm in plaster about 14 years ago. I was trying to avoid him as I was a bit scruffy that day.

I also now understand the Craft and party plan jokes on here, there is an entire section of the newsagents dedicated to Quilting and Patchwork magazines. Sewing is a good life skill.

Mrs B told the dinner table only the other night that she belived her place was in the home... bugger its work for me then..

"woofters", "gary" - thank the web for dictionaries of the the new Queens English - or is it Prince Philip speak - or the new Queen pretender?

You have inside information that The Australian Women's Weekly has been invaded?

After the bitter disappointments originating from the rotting House of Windsor, a last sweet sad memorium for Princess Dianna and hopeful expectation for our own officially dubbed Crown Princess Mary of Denmark:

We adored Diana, the late Princess of Wales. And, as "our Mary" blossoms more and more in her new role as Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, we are coming to love her, too.
