wombat - You may be right, I may not be funny (I can be, but only to those with an irony chip fitted, generally something lacking in the local species I find).

anyhow, perhaps we'll attack it from a different angle, as my hilarity quotient is clearly a subjective topic.

What about you name me 5 hilarious Aussie comedy offerings and we'll take a look at just what gets the local laughter juices flowing. Over to you sir.

He'd be flat out naming one, unless you call Neighbours a comedy. Sadly, most Australians find US sitcoms funny. Why, I don't know. Most of them are thoroughly unfunny.

Like I wrote somewhere else, most of Australia's TV programming is bollocks.

Actually l agree with you, all the Australian sitcoms that have been made were crap and not funny, as too most of the American sitcoms. The British make the best comedy shows in the world such as Faulty Towers, The Young
ones, Bottom, etc. Also most of the Programes on Australian TV are garbage
and the few good shows that are on come from the Uk.

TV maybe but Adam and Will of Triple J are loads funnier than any Radio 1 Breakfast Show DJs I can think of.

Can someone give me some Karma please, I'm feeling left out.
