The Aussie Press has its say!
"Only a Jonny Wilkinson drop goal with 28 seconds to go after 100 minutes of pulsating rugby separated the teams as the intensity of the final matched the intensity of the build-up." ok ok!
"This was a World Cup not just for Johnson, or his strong, fit and well-drilled team. It was a World Cup for a nation that has struggled for sporting pride, particularly against Australia, in the past quarter of a century. " hmmm
"Around him, on a semi-circular dais, his teammates danced on the spot, reminiscent of English soccer players" oh you got us there!
"At last, they truly had something to sing about" too bloody right!
I wonder if they would put any spin on it..

I think the Aussies are a bad of sad losers. They deserved to get knocked down a peg or 2 and know what its like to lose.
I saw in the Oz press they're nicknaming Wilkinson 'Jonny Rotten' all I can say to them is
