Default Arriving in WA....

Hi all,

The wifey, child and I are due to arrive in Perth at the end of the month and I was wondering if anyone could assist with a couple of questions that I have please.....

1) I have read (in several publications) that it is a good idea to pick up a copy of "On Arrival" on arrival . Is this true - did you and was it of any use? I have never noticed it on the last couple of trips out there but then to be honest it is the last thing I am looking for whilst the sniffer dog is eyeing me up and I have 18 hrs of jet lag building.....

2) We are arriving on 176 VISAs and part of the conditions of it is that we need to complete a survey/questionnaire every 6 months for 2 years. Has anyone got any experience of this, what it contains and who we notify of our grand arrival (cause the customs guys don't seem impressed we have arrived )

Thanks for your time and any comments....

Griffangus

The only thing i saw in the corridors is a little A5 booklet with mostly coupons, a map and some descriptions of things. Quite useful to a brand new visitor so no harm in grabbing it. I think it was in the corridor in a "free newspaper" stand by gate exit on the opposite wall as you are walking to duty free.
