Default Arrived at Heathrow

Hi all.

I arrived at Heathrow 2 days ago and guess what? it was cold and it was raining!

Still, it's great to be back. We had a "proper" curry for dinner last night and earlier a packet of Walkers prawn cocktail crisps.

Hong Kong was magic. We were there for the 10 year anniversary of the handover. Best fireworks I've ever seen and, unlike Perth Skyworks, when it was over nobody started throwing bottles or fighting.

We went to see the 2 new pandas given to Hong Kong from China and all the media were there. We got interviewed and photographed by 2 newspapers and a TV crew. My twin daughters caused a real stir as they are so cute.

Cathay Pacific - great airline, kept me in G&T the whole flight.

I wouldn't mind I don't really like them, but I've just had a craving for some this week

Unfortunately they have stopped making these, but they are planning to bring them back but don't know when, hubby is another fan and he got himself all excited about the prospect last week when he heard.

I'll be at Heathrow next week. I was reading on a UK news website that they are expecting it to be chaotic during July due to lack of staff, extra security etc. What was it like?
