Default areas, nursing and FOOTBALL in Perth

hi all, used to go on this forum a couple of years ago and i'm glad to see it's still going strong. i didn't have enough points then but now i do so i'm ready to take the plunge. i'm a bit scared now it's time to start filling in all the forms and sorting everything out. anyway it's got to be done!

i am a nurse (37) my husband is a painter (39) and my son is just taking his GCSE exams (16).

we live in sussex now by the sea and want to be near the sea in OZ. does not have to be beachfront a short drive will do. not worried about schools in the area as my son will either go to college in Perth or get a job. don't really want to spend over $400 though. want a community atmosphere where we can solcialise and make friends easily could be with or without lots of other brits.
my husband is a gym fanatic (not a body bulider) recently lost 5 stone and wants to keep it off and loves to cycle everywhere! my son on the other hand plays football and has played for professional clubs here and wants to continue to play for a good club in OZ. already contacted sorrento fc in the semi-professional prem league in WA who are keen for him to join them. any lads playing over there already who could give him some pointers would be great. i, on the other hand just want a slower pace of life, a big BBQ and a pool would be great but i know they don't come cheap.

i'm not being sponsered so will find a job independently so if any nurses working in and around perth who could let me know good/bad places to work i would be greatfull. i work in medicine specialise in diabetes but any medical job will do to start.

anyway, all ideas and advice welcome.

selina.

I know nothing about any of the above, but I'd just like to say welcome to the forum.
