Default April 17th.

As you may have guessed from my little picture thingy I am running the London Marathon this year on April 17th.

As well as doing it for personal satisfaction (?) I am raising money for Lasers for Life; which is a cancer related charity.

If you think you might like to help with some sponsorship, in British pounds, Australian dollars or just about anything else, please visit the following web link www.justgiving.com/peterb and find out how you can do so online.

Cheers in advance!

Good luck! I trained for it in 2003, but broke and dislocated my toe just a few weeks before - its still on my 'to do list' Doing the Gold Coast one (not sure full or half yet) this year, probably a bit warmer

Will have a look at your link [edit]- ah-ha, I see you... and now I know what the 'C' in your username stands for too, all makes sense now!

[edit-edit] how do you pay from a non-sterling account? Will have to dig my old switch card out and see if there's any cash left on that otherwise!

That's not a picture of me, it's my very good looking identical twin brother...

I understood that anyone can pay from anywhere in the World using either a Visacard or Mastercard, as well as the other options, is this not the case?

The Gold Coast one does sound a lot more inviting, maybe (hopefully!) next year.

Cheers.

Ah, well that is true but my c/cards are still English ones (temp. spouse visa, hassles getting credit blah blah blah) not to worry, I'll dig out the switch. Dont like using my c/cards unless I have to since they're not in AUD

Gold Coast one should be good - if you choose Brissie let me know, I belong to two running groups here if you wanted to keep it up/meet more people.
