Approved for 1224 denied MODL approval
I have recently just been assesed by the ACS and have been approved to 1224 but not for MODL. They seem at a loss to explain why and my referneces were for 5 years worth or relevant experience. I need the 5 points to get to 115 does anyone have any ideas or thoughts as to what you need to put in the appeal to get through

Re: Approved for 1224 denied MODL approval
Hi Dyuile,
I think that assessment under 1224 makes a MODL sentence unnecessary. Everyone should
remember that the decision on giving MODL points is made by DIMIA, not ACS. It's just
that having ACS' say so is definitive. But you would be entitled to simply make
strong claims in your visa application covering letter.
You can also fax or email the ACS assessment to me if you want a second opinion.
