Default Apparent shortage of Draftspersons?

From all the job sites there seems to be an apparent shortage of suitable draftspersons in Australia. By what other titles would this position be listed on the g'ment lists.

The only one I know of is Surveying & Cartographic Associate. Yet Vetassess say my quals are not upto standard even though I've been doing the job for twenty years. I've got the experience to do the job blindfolded, just not the little piece of paper that g'ment quangos like.

Anyone else in the same situation, not just drafting it could be any skilled job that appears on the shortage lists.

cheers all and a Happy New Year.
