Question Anything like this in Australia?

Just wondering if there is anything similar to Argos in Australia?

I was there last year but never came across anything similar? (Not that I was looking like)

TIA

Some of the stuff is sh*t like, but it is handy for the odd thing, that you can't seem to find anywhere else!

I think it's got to be one of the most ridiculous ways to shop ever invented.

You can get everything you need here at Target, Big W, Kmart etc.

Whatever. Shopping is boring as (unless it's for intersting stuff like computers, cars, DVDs, electronics etc) wherever you are.

Yes! I tend to leave the 'boring' shopping to my wife.

Argos was probably one shop that I did miss when we first arrived. I didn't know where to go for stuff and found it hard to compare prices and goods across all the different shops as not all the brands were familiar but once we settled in and got used to everything I do not miss it at all and as someone else said you can get most stuff in Target or K Mart.

I love KMart. You can get anything from a oil for your car, to a spare fishing rod to a reasonably priced paperback. It's actually a bloody useful shop.

As others have said you will find everything you could ever want at Target, an excellent store, knicked from the Americans like virtually everything else over here, but thats not a bad thing.
