Default Anyone work for Readymix in Queensland???

Hi

Have tried to email them with reqards to jobs in their numorous quarries (oh is a maintenance fitter/supervisor in uk quarry at moment) but email address on there not working. If anyone works for them, or any other quarry in OZ please could you forward me their email address as we are trying to send out some cvs before we leave.

Thanks all

If the email is not working, why don't you send the cv by normal post? At least it would get there and you could then explain in your covering letter that you have been having difficulty with their email address. Maybe a good idea to forward cv to hire firms such as Drake Industrial or Kellys as well.

We drove past a Readymix quarry today. It was on the Ingham road 10 kms north of Townsville. If you're still looking for a home and land package then Bushland Beach would be ideal for you as it's only about a 10 minutes drive from there

Really? That is great news, we have tried to email them but no joy so we are going to send CV's out before we leave and then we can chase them up when we arrive. I still desperately want to visit Townsville but OH thinks we need to focus our search a little bit, which I agree with so we are booked in an apartment on the Sunshine coast for 10 days so we can check out jobs and then hopefully we are flying up to Townsville to do the same thing.

What is Bushland beach like, someone else mentioned it but I can't find the development on the internet.

Did you look anywhere else before heading to Townsville or did you just pick it and went for it??

We've visited Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast as well, but for us Townsville had everything we were looking for and we are very happy with our choice. Rabc lives at Bushland Beach so you could try sending him a PM. There's a good display village there and a very nice tavern which does excellent food. Great views of Magnetic Island too
