I used to do medical typing from home. I will probably do it again during semester breaks - a friend of mine's boss is looking for someone to do his typing now. It's good money for something I'm good at.

Re: Anyone work from home?
I worked from home for 11 years up till 2008. I loved it.
I was an analyst/programmer and supported an outsourced IT system (via a complicated arrangement I won't go into) for one of the banks.
Now I just commute to the city like zillions of other people.

The company i work for (financial inst) openly encourages people to work from home every now and then. I actually find it much easier to get work done without all the distractions of meetings and phone calls! Plus you can do it while listening to music and pigging out on junk food

OH is a penetration-tester (hacker) here in the UK and hasn't left the house in months! But if we get a job offer in Oz he'll probably be office-based :-(

I'm just in the process of setting up a home based small business - it'll be sort of admin/bookkeeping based.
When I say 'in the process', I'll probably procrastinate the whole thing to around the middle of next year
