Default ANYONE USED OR GOING TO USE DOREE BONNER TO SHIP FROM SCOTLAND TO PERTH

Hi

Just wanting to know of peoples experiences with the company and how much they were for sole use of 20ft container or have been quoted.

Anyone had to make a claim on the insurance? Were they helpful and did they get things sorted?

Thanks for your help

Can just do a quick reply for now.

We used them from Oxford to Perth and didn't have any problems at all. About£6,600 for a 40ft container incl insuarance with just a single cheap wine glass broken, and a small scratch on a table leaf.

Highly recommended.

We used them from Edinburgh to Sydney and had a 40ft (£5,400 not inc insurance). The guys who packed us were really nice. 8 weeks all in till we received our stuff. We did have a fair few damaged goods and they said they would settle quickly, however this took some time and we eventually got the money 3 mths later (more to do with their underwriter).

I would still recommend them.

Hi

We are moving to Perth from Fife hopefully this year (depending when the house sells!!)

I enquired online and the man from Dorree phoned back. He seemed really nice and was concerned about our needs, unlike some who phoned back and talked about themselves!

We are only taking boxes and were quoted £1000 door to door service for 150 cu ft, packing ourselves which we want to do.

We have been quoted £1000 for 250 cu ft from a local company but it doesnt include anything once it lands at Fremantle. A lot more for your money but dont know if it would cost a fortune once there with customs etc, and a lot of hassle this way.

We are also heading south of Perth but not set on one place yet.

Thanks for the replies. We have been quoted approx £4500 excluding ins for 850 cft giving us sole use of 20ft container. This includes 3 motorbikes and a piano Does that sound a reasonable price?

Thanks Ginny. How long have you been in Brisbane for. A bit different from Dundee eh? We finally heard that we got our visa on Thursday. Still can't believe it

Bit surreal when you get the goahead with the visa! Life here's certainly different although the last couple of days I've had my winter woolies out! All the best in your move to Perth.

Cheers
