Default Anyone use Freedom Shipping?

I found an ads in TNT Magazine posted by freedomshipping.com saying shipping charges of £26.25 per box. Box size is 51x41x31 cm. A minimum of 4 boxes must be sent to get this prize.

Has anyone used them before?

I also read the thread about Advice on Shipping Companies here: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=594942

I don't know which one I shall used among so many, having read about items being stolen. Can somebody give suggestions?

I am also thinking of whether to travel to Australia to validate my visa and then come back to the UK to pick up my stuff. The reason for this is to sort out accommodation before sending my stuff to the shipping companies. Obviously, this option cost more in terms of flight ticket involved.

Or is it otherwise, ie sent stuff to shipping company, leave UK, find accommodation upon arrival and then notify shipping company where they shall send my stuff to?

Ive just booked my shipping with freedomshipping. You say it took 6 weeks - was that how long it took from pickup- in the UK to drop off in Oz? Sounds pretty good to me considering they quote 10 weeks on the website!

We're using them as they are by far the cheapest we found - we're even gonna send stuff that we didn't originally plan such as TV and vacuum cleaner cos it's cheap enough to do so! Our impressions of them so far are that they seem to be professional and very organised so hopefully all is ok once it gets shipped to the other side.

We used them and they were excellent.

No complaints, good value for money and good service from start to finish.
