Its actually the reason houses were cheaper to build in Perth - its land thats the ridiculous price. |

Not in Perth , 95% are built on sand , cracking in brick houses is more to do with clay type soils . Baldivis is sand laid on sand .

Get a few Pedestal fans, $20 at the hardware shop (bu****ings). use them up to 30 degrees, they use about 40 watts, after that its blinds closed and 26 degrees on the split system air con. :cool: |

We've got two air con units. I can't remember the last time the bedroom one was used but the living room was was in evaporative once or twice last summer. Prefer windows and doors open, screen doors closed and ceiling fans on medium myself. |
