How on earth does someone put a windscreen in the wrong way round

Not sure. Maybe my explanation wasn't good, but the aerial sensor in the glass should be on the left side, but the way they have put the windscreen in means that it is now on the right side and doesn't work. At least they offered straight away to pay for it to be replaced and I now don't have a huge crack in it. Will see how long the replacement takes to arrive.

Ive been reading the 'exporting car' threads with great interest as I was initially thinking of taking my car, but I did read up about how much and the hassle it takes and decided against it, however i'm coming back around to the idea.
I bought my Nissan Navara in Sept 2007 brand new 24K, i'm moving to Brisbane on 18th April and looked into selling the vehicle and was astonished as to how much it is worth..12K!!! that's a loss of 12K in 15 months. I understand that exporting the car will cost about 5k maybe a bit more but with the money i'd get for it here and then get one in Brisbane i'll be worse off surely? my intention would be to keep the car for years and years.

Had the second replacement done last Friday, so only about 3 weeks for it to arrive in Perth. I have to say the customer service was excellent and although they made a mistake, they were upfront and corrected it as soon as they could. Would definately recommend the company - O,Briens - to anyone needeing a windscreen repair.
