Default Anyone taken a car back to the UK?

Hi,

I've tried in vain to find some info on customes duty and import VAT on the inland revenue site but there doesn't seem to be anything.

Basically I want to know whether I will still be liable for these if I take a car I have owned for over a year in OZ back to the UK?

Cheers,
Bob

Hi there,
you could maybe try search for customs & excise, which would include vat.
Inland revenue is different thing altogether.
Have just found it, try this http://www.hmce.gov.uk/

Cheers Iain
