Not recently, six years ago, kids were 5 and 2 at the time. Now very well settled, lived most of their lives here, both consider themselves still to be English (they are, after all) and have more friends and more activities and more to do than they ever would have had in UK.

The "Brisbane area" is quite large. What area are you planning on moving to?

If you're looking around Northlakes then you should find a lot of people from the UK up that direction. You might be better off starting a new thread asking about families in the North Lakes/Pacific Pines area. Or... do a search, those areas come up a lot.

Everyone will have a different option about those places so it's best to see for yourself

No.... I've never been there. I only asked because you hadn't said what areas of Brisbane you were looking at. We're in Bayside, so nowhere near Northlakes area.
There are however lots of people on here that will have things to say about that area. If you start a new thread with those two suburbs in the title you'll probably get the attention of the people who know something about the area.
Failing that you can just see how many people are curious about your thread, or do a search on your own.

Hi
We live in Narangba which is approx 15 minutes from North Lakes, we really like the area, schools good (3 kids 17,15,12) access to highway good etc. It is a very hard to recommend areas as we are all different, but we like it where we are. We moved over in October last year.
