anyone northside? chermside ish??
just wondered if anyone is near me.. we're in ferny grove.. myself rach (37) doc (42) and 4 kids... 15,13,10,9.. we have australian friends over here, but would love to meet up with some of you guys.. moved from manchester uk in july and are loving it here in brisbane.. although christmas didnt quite feel right 
still at least it wasnt too hot 
did enjoy phoning home though and showing off a bit 
if anyone is interested in a meet then lemme know..

We're in Ferny Grove too ! Where abouts in Manchester are you from ? we're from Rochdale, been here since Feb. Would deff be on for a meet up. Our kiddies are a bit younger than yours, 2 & 4. Somewhere like Ferny Grove Tavern would be ok, we're only 5 mins walk from there.

we are a little further north near strathpine and are up for a meet. Where and when?? Been here since Oct and loving it, agree with Christmas feeling odd but did enjoy rubbing it in especially as my dad spent some time finding the wheeliy bin which got blown away down the street!!

Gilhooleys Chermside has always proved a popular watering hole for these sort of affairs previously. Might be up for a beer or two if it's a kids free night sometime....we have one - just don't want to bring him along. Live near Petrie btw.

Has a restaurant & bit of a kids playground, sort of a Sunday lunch type of place, although it is BYO.Depends what sort of meet people want, Boozy Saturday night out at Gilhooleys, or bring the kids & have a chat & a few social

Its good to see there are brits living north side,up until now all i seemed to see on here was people living on the south side.
We moved her in July 06 from essex just north of London and we now live in Redcliffe so a little further out than some of you.We have 2 boys (14 and 12) so if there is any meet ups northside let us know(with or without kids not fussed).
If any of you are going to the Gap meet this Sat see you there.
