Just wondering if anyone is planning on moving to Melbourne and has any information to share. Am doing general research into where to live, cost of living etc.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Welcome to BE there are quite a few heading off to Melbourne, if you do a search there is 2 threads about Melbourne recently started.
the oz lot wont be up just yet, from 10 ish they will be up.

Absolutely, feel free to PM me. We don't have kids, so our perspective is a little different to some - I don't know where the best schools are, or the family-oriented areas, but I do know where restaurants, shops and pubs are, and what I spend as a dinky family.

It has a lot about the history of Melbourne and where and what to do and see. We were excited about going anyway, but after reading this book I can't wait to get on the plane.
