Im in bris at the min, came here in may but finding it hard- not many young...ish, likeminded brits here and the aussies dont seem to friendly to outsiders.
Struggled finding work, there is a lot of construction work going on here but speaking to people work is drying up in QLD, so the jobs they do have go to australians, i think its more a case of "who you know and not what you know" when looking for a job.
im moving to melbourne on the 25th july, just got to find a temporary place to stay.
If anyone has any ideas on temporary accomodation for a min of 1month let me know.
