we've been here for a year and our 5 year old is currently at caloundra city but that may change - the school is brilliant but we have another one due to go there in the future and it could get very expensive (around $1200 a term i think). the other schools seem to do a good job, and if you search for threads you might find some more on caloundra schools, till then try this:

yep there are quite a few state schools in caloundra - golden beach, currimundi, caloundra high, kawana - have a look at the lonk i sent you as you can access their websites from there. i dont know that much about them, havent heard any horror stories, but you might be able to do a search on this forum for them?
