Collins Street in the city between Swanston and Elizabeth streets.

Its called Treats from Home and they have a website. Its in one of the arcades on the first floor. Little shop but pretty good for crisps, chocolates, sweets, bisto, Marmite. A little bit pricey but well worth a visit every few months.
Speaking of which, must dust off the credit card for my next visit

If not we will have to take a couple of boxes with us!!
You don't say where they are ..... Around Brisbane they could try Syd's Pies or Pommes Tea Shop.

I wish. Sorry, some naff Aussie imitation maybe, but not the real thing.

The Bloke has just come in from Tarjay (!) where he apparently struck up a onversation with a a woman in the queue, who was dreaming of Tescos and their "open another checkout" thing (as the queue was 30 people deep). She was also dreaming of Hula Hoops, and asked if its still possible to get Monster Munch!

Ah! Much like the Stella, Becks or Any other 'import' beer you care to name.

PS they all taste fine to me but some of the connoisseurs on this site can tell the difference. All goes down the same hatch.

I remember my first taste of the Aussie imitation Stella - nearly spat at back at the barman! Revolting!

I just can't remember the name of it. Next time I visit (won't be long) I'll write it down and post again.

For those in the Northern Beaches there is also a shop in the Warringah Mall called 'Sugar Fix' that sells lots of sweets, chocolates and crisps from the UK and the US but I don't remember seeing Hula Hoops in there.

Happy eating
Hi - Do you mean Pommes Teashop in Wynnum? I only found out the other day that they have now opened a shop selling Brit food so I am taking a trip down there next week to check it out.

Hi, Wynnum is one of the Bayside suburbs of Brisbane, on the Southside, maybe 40 mins by train from the CBD to give you a ball park idea of distance. I used to live in Wynnum and it's a funny old place but just round the bay from v. v. up and coming Manly - so if you were making a trip of it you could have have a frappeccino at Manly and stroll around it's marina to look at the lovely yachts and a walk along the promenade - which is just beautiful. I'll post something after I have paid a visit to the pommy food shop - but a friend of mine told me it's got Walkers crisps, biscuits brands and sweets you can buy in the UK and, wait for it, Bisto gravy granules (ahhhh, Bisto....)
